Special Category Status: The previous government has promised Special Category Status to AP. But the current government is denying because planning commission denied.
The main point regarding special category status is tax allowances , if AP get tax allowance then companies ready to invest, because they can save some amount.
Why central is denying Special Status to AP:
If AP get Special status category Tamilnadu, Telengana, Karnata will get effected. Some companies from these states will try to go to AP.
Who will get benefit because of package:
Ultimately politicians, contractors can get benefited with package.
Did Central gave package to AP ?
Unfortunately NO. All the projects which were announcing by Venkiah Naidu garu was given as part of Act, they are not giving something extra.
